As most of you know, I love writing. And I love to be able to find another writer that can challenge me in my perspectives. It seems that lately, there are less writers out there than I remember from a decade ago that really can offer meaningful and impactful content.
Did you know you can help to change that?
Support your favorite writers!
- Love and comment on what they post.
- If they have any way to “tip” them, do so when you are inspired.
- Ask them questions that may inspire something new.
- Send them a message letting them know they have impacted you.
- In other words… engage with them.
Those who do write love engagement, and often times need it to keep going. Writing isn’t always easy, and on a site that focuses more on visual content (for obvious reasons), it can get discouraging sometimes when you barely get noticed.
I’m not suggesting that we as writers here are doing it for the accolades. Most of us simply do it because it’s what we love to do. But that extra encouragement is often needed, because taking the time to write can take a lot out of you.
Take time today to support your favorite writers, and let them know that you appreciate them!
