Driving to an event last night, I was working my way through traffic. Weaving and bobbing, knowing how the flow typically goes, and able to be a bit more aggressive in my moves. Yes, a bit of experience allowed me to do some more advanced moves along the way.
Mind you, I would not want my teen driver doing that. There’s just not enough experience. They don’t know what to expect, how people tend to move and how to handle those sudden situations.
That’s not unlike this lifestyle.
If you have experience, you can do some more advanced shit. You have done enough to anticipate the outcomes, you better know the risks, and you know how to handle those sudden changes.
But when you’re new to it all, you don’t quite know what to expect. Those sudden, unexpected stops and movements can throw you hard, even crash you.
Take your time.
And if you’re experienced, remember… not everything goes as planned. Don’t get too overconfident, because you can still crash too 😉
